How do I book an appointment?
Simply click the “Book Appointment” button located at the top of the website. From there, you can view availability and select the service that best fits your needs.
How do I reschedule or cancel?
If you created an account during booking, just log in to make changes.
Need help? Text or call 316-312-1724, and I’ll gladly assist.
Running late?
Please send a quick text. There’s a 15-minute grace period, but arrivals beyond that may need to be shortened or rescheduled to keep the day running smoothly.

When are you open?
Salon hours are:
• Wednesday: 12 PM – 9 PM
• Thursday – Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
(Closed Sunday – Tuesday)
How much is a service?
All pricing can be found on the Services or Book Appointment page. Each listing includes pricing, add-ons, and available appointment options.
Do You Offer Hair Color Services?
Yes! Hair color services are available after a consultation to ensure your hair’s health and best results.
Do you do haircuts?
Yes — haircuts are available as an add-on to services such as a Silk Press or Sew-In.
Do you offer Braiding services?
Currently, I only offer Crochet Braids. Cornrows are done as a foundation for sew-ins or crochet styles but not as a standalone service.

Can I get a consultation and service the same day?
If time allows, yes! If your treatment plan is determined during consultation and you’re ready to move forward, we can proceed that day.

What types of extensions do you install?
• Sew-In Extensions: A timeless, protective method for full coverage and volume.
• Fairy-Link Sew-In (Microlinks): A braidless sew-in offering flexible movement and a seamless look.
Can I bring my own hair?
Yes — as long as it’s 100% human hair. Please avoid synthetic blends (especially from Amazon), as they may damage your hair or styling tools.
Do you color extensions?
Yes, but I only guarantee results for hair purchased directly from Hair Fairy Studios.
How do I order hair?
You can place an order by text, email, or directly at your next appointment. Please order at least 4 business days in advance.
Do you install lace closures?
Yes — please drop them off 3 business days prior for customization.
Silk Press
What is a Silk Press?
A Silk Press is a chemical-free method for straightening and smoothing textured hair, using professional heat protection and moisture treatments.
Does it damage the hair?
Not at all — when done professionally and maintained properly at home.
How long does it last?
Typically, 1–2 weeks, depending on your lifestyle, texture, and environment.
How can I make it last longer?
Wrap your hair nightly with a silk or satin scarf and avoid moisture or heavy oils.
Is a trim included?
Trims are not included but can be added to any appointment.
Crochet Braids
What are Crochet Braids?
A protective style using pre-looped hair crocheted into your natural braids — lightweight, versatile, and easy to maintain.
How long do they last?
Typically 4–6 weeks depending on your lifestyle and hair type.
Is shampoo included?
Yes — each appointment includes a shampoo, conditioning treatment, and braid-down before installation.
What kind of hair should I bring?
Pre-looped, 100% synthetic crochet hair that matches your desired look. I’m happy to recommend brands if needed!
Can I wash my scalp with Crochet Braids in?
Yes — gently cleanse your scalp using diluted shampoo. During your service, I’ll show you how to maintain your style at home.
Are Crochet Braids good for growth?
Yes — they’re a protective style that reduces manipulation and helps preserve your natural hair.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
To keep your experience smooth, relaxing, and on schedule, we kindly ask that all guests follow these guidelines:
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We completely understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or adjust your appointment, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer the time to another client.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed appointments will incur a fee, which must be settled before booking your next visit.
Running Late
If you're running behind, please give us a call. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require shortening the service or rescheduling, depending on the day’s schedule. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
Refunds
Because each service is personalized and time is reserved just for you, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once services have been completed.
