Appointments

How do I book an appointment?

 

Click the “Book Now” button located at the top right corner of our website. From there, you can view availability and select the service that best fits your needs.

How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

 

If you created an account during booking, simply log in to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If not, feel free to call or text us at 316-312-1724 and we’ll assist you.

When Are You Open?
We are open from Wednesdays 12pm-9pm and Thursday to Saturday 9am-6pm.
How much is a service?
All prices are listed on our service webpage. Click the "Loyal Clients "Book Appointment" button at the top of the screen to view our booking page, which includes the cost of each service, add-ons, and available appointments.
Do You Offer Hair Color Services?
Yes, we offer hair coloring services. You must do a consultation first. 
Do you do haircuts?
Yes, but only in conjunction with another service such as a silk press or sew-in.
Do you offer Braiding services?
At Hair Fairy Studios, we currently only offer crochet braids.
While we do braid the hair as a foundation for certain services like sew-ins or crochet styles, we do not offer cornrows as a standalone hairstyle.

How do I book an appointment for Hair Loss services?

First, you need to book a consultation appointment.

​Can I get a service and have my hairloss consultation in the same day? 

Absolutely! If time allows and you're ready to move forward, we can proceed with a recommended treatment or style during the same visit.

What are Sew-In Extensions?
Sew-ins involve braiding the natural hair and sewing wefts of hair onto the braids. It’s a long-lasting and versatile way to add volume or length while protecting your natural hair.

 

What is a Fairy-Link Sew-In?
A braidless sew-in using tiny micro-links to secure wefts to your natural hair. No glue, no heat, and minimal tension — this method offers a flexible, natural look that’s easy to maintain.

Where do I purchase hair?
You can pre-order premium-quality hair directly from Hair Fairy Studios. To ensure timely delivery, please order at least 4 business days before your appointment.

Can I bring my own hair?
Yes — as long as it is 100% human hair. Please avoid synthetic blends or hair from Amazon, as they are not heat-friendly and may damage professional tools.

How do I order hair?
You can place an order by calling, texting, or speaking with me during your appointment.

Do you color hair extensions?
Yes, but I only guarantee color results on hair purchased directly through the salon.

Do you install lace closures?
Yes! If you’re bringing your own closure, please drop it off at least 3 business days in advance so it can be customized.

Do you install frontals?
Not at this time.

 

Hair Requirements

Is my hair long enough for extensions?
Your natural hair should be at least chin length to ensure a secure braid-down or anchor foundation.

Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment?
No — please arrive with unwashed hair. I’ll handle cleansing and prep at the salon.

Service Details

How long do extensions last?
For optimal scalp health and style longevity, I recommend wearing extensions for 6–8 weeks before removal or reinstall.

 

What types of hair textures and colors do you offer?
Hair Fairy Studios carries high-quality textures such as straight, curly, and wavy, with colors ranging from natural browns to blondes to match your hair seamlessly.

Do you service all hair types?
Yes! I specialize in all textures — if you grow hair, I can care for it.

How much do extension services cost?
Installation pricing does not include hair. You can view full pricing and book directly through our Services Page or by clicking the "Book Appointment" button.

Silk Press

What is a Silk Press?

A silk press is a heat styling method used to straighten natural, textured hair without chemicals. It leaves your hair soft, smooth, and full of movement — while preserving your natural curl pattern underneath. It's perfect for clients who want a sleek, polished look with no long-term commitment.

Does a Silk Press damage your hair?

Not at all — when done professionally with the right products and temperature control. At Hair Fairy Studios, we use protective products and deep conditioning to maintain your hair’s health and integrity at every step.

How long does a Silk Press last?

Typically 1–2 weeks, depending on your hair texture, activity level, and how you maintain it at home. Humidity, sweating, and moisture exposure can shorten its longevity.

How can I make my Silk Press
last longer?

We recommend wrapping your hair at night with a silk or satin scarf, avoiding moisture, and staying away from heavy oils or butters. You'll also receive personalized tips during your visit to help you maintain your look between appointments.

 
Is a trim included with my
Silk Press?

Trims are not included but can be added on during your appointment. Regular trims help maintain your hair’s shape and prevent breakage.

Crochet Braids

What are Crochet Braids?

Crochet braids are a protective style where pre-looped hair extensions are gently crocheted into your natural hair, which is braided underneath. This technique offers volume, versatility, and a natural look — with less tension than traditional sew-ins or box braids.

How long do Crochet Braids last?

With proper care, crochet styles typically last 4–6 weeks. Maintenance depends on your lifestyle, hair texture, and the type of hair used.

Is a shampoo included with Crochet Braids?

Yes! Your appointment includes a full shampoo, conditioning treatment, braid-down, and the crochet installation — plus a style finish to ensure your look is polished and ready to go.

What kind of hair should I bring?

Please bring pre-looped, 100% synthetic crochet hair that matches your desired look. If you’re unsure what to purchase, feel free to reach out before your appointment for recommendations.

Can I wash my scalp with
Crochet Braids in?

Yes — you can gently cleanse your scalp using a diluted shampoo and focusing on the scalp only. During your appointment, we’ll go over tips for keeping your scalp clean and healthy while wearing the style.

Are Crochet Braids good for
hair growth?

Yes! Crochet braids are a protective style that keeps your natural hair tucked away with low manipulation, helping to support growth and reduce breakage when cared for properly.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

At Hair Fairy Studios, we value your time and strive to create a smooth, relaxing experience for every guest. To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, please review the following guidelines:

Rescheduling & Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to offer your spot to another guest.

  • Late cancellations (under 48 hours) and no-shows will incur a fee, which must be paid before rebooking future appointments.

Running Late?

If you're running more than 15 minutes late, please call or text us at 316-312-1724. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled depending on availability.

Refunds & Exchanges

As a small business providing customized services, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once services have been rendered.
