I’m Tanisha Lee Alexander, though most clients know me as Tanisha Lee. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and the owner of Hair Fairy Studios, specializing in silk presses, hair extensions, and compassionate hair loss and scalp care.
With 16+ years of experience caring for clients of all backgrounds and hair textures—and more than 2,700 appointments completed—I’ve helped hundreds of clients feel confident, polished, and truly seen, one transformation at a time.

My Story
I’ve always believed beauty starts with how you feel — confident, seen, and cared for.
Originally from Tulsa, OK (with a little Dallas sparkle), I’ve made Wichita my home and my heart. Along the way, I’ve met amazing women who balance careers, family, and life — and still want to look and feel their best.
Hair Fairy Studios was born from my desire to create a peaceful space where women can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. It’s more than a salon — it’s a space to recharge, reset, and leave feeling renewed inside and out.
I’m also a proud Wichita State University graduate with a degree in Social Work — a background that shapes how I care for people, listen with empathy, and create a safe, judgment-free environment in my chair.
